Hello,

I have no wifi but I have 1 000 GB of 4G fair use per month.

Despite that fact, Google won't let me install anything without wifi.

How do I fix this ?

Thanks !

Is App Download Preference on Play Store settings to "Over Any Network"?

I actually tried these, and despite it solves the wifi problem, it also make Google forget that I need my backed up apps back...

Is this on a clean flash? Sign in on PS and doesn't restore? If it's a dirty flash try a clean one. Strange behaviour though, never had such issues

  • I was on Havoc OS / Android 9
  • I made a Google backup
  • I wiped everything
  • I installed Xiaomi.eu / Android 10
  • I asked Google to restore the backup
  • Google Play refused to install apps because of no wifi
  • I deleted Google Play data
  • Google Play didn't resumed the backup and still refused to install apps
  • I deleted Google Play updates
  • Google Play accepted to install apps

No idea man. Restoring a Google backup done in a different OS might be the culprit here but I really don't have any other input for this. Someone else might be able to shed some light

Make use of Wifi at friends home, because Google is fair to protect people having a reduced data plan.
