Problem with backlight of capacitive buttons

Hey!

Yesterday I just got my first xiaomi, I bought it for a really cheap price on eBay and everything is ******* awesome. Until I activated the backlight of the hardware buttons.
The light of the back button is very bright but the other two buttons are way too dark



The seller brought it with him from his vacation to China and doesn't have contact data from the local dealer. So its not possible to let it be repaired from the dealer.

Is this really a hardware problem that couldnt be solved that easily?

I hope you guys can help me.

The phone might need replacing bottom USB flex cable part. Similar to Mi3 this part is responsible for USB charging and buttons back light.
