[Q] wiping dalvik cache causes error

when trying to wipe dalvik cache in recovery, i am getting "E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]"

is there a way to fix this? because dalvik cache isn't cleared and i need to delete "/data/dalvik-cache" manualy and reboot.

That error pops up for me as well, but my dalvik still gets wiped.

Are you on updated clockword mod recovery?

Do you have the SD Card visible? /sd-ext missing suggests bad partitioning or the SD card was not found by recovery?

do you mean external sd card? i haven't used any sd card yet, but was planning, if i repartition my internal sd card, will this get fix? and will it wipe my datas?
