I have issue on both of my Xiaomi Redmi 2 2GB (16GB storage). It is an 2014813 (under battery) and Model number HM 2LTE-CMCC (About phone in MIUI) device. Currently there one have the MiUI 5.9.10 | Beta and second one xiaomi.eu_multi_HM2014813_V6.6.3.0.KHJCNCF_v6-4.4.zip

If I enable Wi-Fi in few seconds it will reset SIM card and I need to reenter SIM pin. Again after few minutes there is SIM reset and I need to reenter SIM PIN, and so going on until Wi-Fi is disabled. Once Wi-Fi disabled the phone with stable MiUI works for 24 hours ok, but the one with beta even without Wi-Fi I have this SIM reset after few hours.

Can someone help me? I both two device from Xiaomiforsale and both have same issue. With this Problem I cannot use my phone.

Here is a bit from log:

There has been some huge discussion regarding this SIM reset issue. As a workaround, you can try to manually select the operator instead of letting the phone pick one up automatically.

But do please vote/confirm and report on the bug report on the official forums, for solving this damned thing: http://en.miui.com/thread-114845-1-1.html

Indeed your workarround is working for me on these three tested roms (miuidecuro_REDMI2TD_5.8.20_4.4.zip / miuidecuro_REDMI2TD_5.6.25_4.4.zip) and xiaomi.eu_multi_HM2014813_V6.6.3.0.KHJCNCF_v6-4.4.zip.

I hope some devs will check this and fix this problem?? I could not belive that no devs dont see this and dont ask for any logs or something like that.

Xiaomi needs to prioritize better what has to be done. Significant bugs remain unsolved, whereas cosmetic issues get solved first, go figure...

If possible, please do "confirm" the bug in the xiaomi official forums. Drop a line if you can too!
