Redmi 1S TD-SCDMA/GSM how to change to English Miui?

I just bought a Redmi 1S TD-SCDMA/GSM in China. Although the language is changed to English, most of the apps are still Chinese and I cannot get the Google Play store to open. I believe I can change the entire software to an English one?

1) How do I do this? I have RTFF and I am unable to get an absolutely clear picture. This is my first time using Android.

2) Is it possible to upgrade this to Android 4.4?

Which of the rom is suitable for my phone? The box says 1S TD-SCDMA/GSM. I can only see Rom for Redmi 1S WCDMA or Redmi (Not 1S) TD-SCDMA

Ups sorry. I didn't read that on your post. We don't have support for TD Redmi 1S.
