Invalid Redmi 9A going charging mode when unplugged

Greetings.

This is an issue I didn't thought I'd ever see again, after the late 90s-early 00s era.
On one of my Redmi devices, specifically a Redmi 9A (50 days of life, brand new), MIUI Version 12.0.12 Global (QCDEUXM), the device suddenly goes on charging mode, when unplugged and on standby. It stays like that for 2 minutes, then it goes off charging mode. Tried a reboot, didn't solve the issue. Device is fully updated.
