New Redmi Note 12 (tapas) and (topaz) can be flashed now with the same code names?

As the lead developer said:
We have added compatibility for Redmi Note 12 non-NFC (tapas) to our ROM for Redmi Note 12 NFC (topaz), which allows us to support both variants without having to maintain two separate ROMs.
The current combined ROM for topaz/tapas (TOPAZ_OS1.0.4.0.UMGMIXM) has a newer security patch than the last ROM for tapas (TAPAS_OS1.0.4.0.UMTMIXM) so you might want to update if you're using tapas, dirty flashing is fine

does this mean that I can flash my Redmi Note 12 (Tapas) into 1.0.5.0 by using the Redmi Note 12 (Topaz) rom?

How many times do we have to repeat "Yes" to you.
I wrote Yes. This is also written in the statement of the main developer, and the table in the "HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE" thread tells you this.

Just making things sure.

I flashed the latest TOPAZ into my tapas device, sad to say there is a bug in it, system processes and system launcher stopped working and I have to downgrade to fix the issue, for context I updated my device through fastboot mode
