Redmi Pro - Invalid Imei - Need Nvram.bin File

Hello,

Due to a bad manipulation, my friend lost his IMEI in redmi PRO
I tried all the method available to fix IMEI, with maui meta and also with SN write tool.
but sadly it's unsuccessful!
So last method I read about is to restore nvram.bin from a nandroid backup.
I don't have nandroid backup of the device, this is why I am asking for an angel here
that would be ready to make a nandroid backup of his Redmi Pro (3GB - 64GB) and provide me his nvram.bin file and scatter.txt

You want to Write IMEI !
So, Is the Phone Rooted or not ?
If yes, The easy way is to use MobileUncleToolbox. Through:
Engineer Mode-Engineer Mode(MTK)-( Up Tabs: Connectivity)CDS Information-Radio Information- Phone 1 or 2
Now use this Command and Notice the Space that i show by (( _ )) to you:
AT+_EGMR=1,7"IMEI" now click send command and for Sim 2 Use AT+_EGMR=1,10"IMEI" and click send command
If forget to put space between AT+ and EGMR it won't send the command.
After that restart thye phone and ... finnish
IMEI restored

Hi, thanks for the answer but I already try this...
Sadly on my phone I don't have CDS Information in Connectivity Tab...
I also tried with the updated version of MobileUncle which called HeroTool,
it's also possible to write IMEI there but after I write it and click on Modify,
the device reboot and the IMEI is changed but, it's not the Value that I wrote, instead it write something like pw#45...
so still no correct IMEI on my device.

So in this case nothing i can do right now, i sent my phone back to china because it was broken at the time of get it, So, if nobody done that for you , at the time i received mine i will check this thread again and if nobody help you i will send you my Nv and Scatter !
I use my old Note 2 with Helio X10 and Uncletools with version 2160202 final works perfectly on this SOC.
Just check again and get sure with the version of MobileUncle that u use friend because older version of that didn't work for me and as just you said i couldn't find CDS Information in connectivity tab.

But actually i don't think it's a version issue, since engineer mode is also accessible from dialer by typing code
and this is the built-in engineer mode, from there also I didn't have CDS Info.

But, who knows, please give me your version apk or link and I will try

don't bother to find a link, I found it, installed it and still no CDS Info there...

So i guess I will be waiting for nvram file from you or other kind person.

my wifi works perfectly, but i stil have an error message with my wifi, and i did not find how to resolve it on redmi pro
the message is:
NVRAM WARNING: Err = 0x10

just 2 little differences for me:
i don't use root explorer but Solid explorer (free 14 days)
and for the redmi pro the direction of the folder is
File system root/nvdata/APCFG/APRDEB

Using the MTK engineering mode is not a permanent fix for imei issue. It will be lost on factory reset.
Try Maui Meta 3G and fix the imei issue permanently. You will need the latest MTK vcom drivers, nvram database file from the current rom and Maui meta 3g app.

For the NVRAM wifi issue...
This method is easy as any other methods..

What you need to perform the methods..??
1. A Rooted MTK device
2. Root Explorer.apk
3. Wifi Error Fix.rar

How to do this?

On Your Rooted device go to root Explorer
And navigate to File system root/
data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB
There you will found to files named 1) WIFI , 2) WIFI_CUSTOM just simply delete these files

Now extract the files from the WiFi fix.rar
and move the extracted files to the previous (root/
data/nvram/APCFG/APRDEB) folder.

After this process complete You need to just reboot your device. Now go to the wifi adapter setting and you will find the message of NVRAM Error Warning is gone...

First flash an original fastboot rom and flash it. This is necessary to match baseband versions.

You will need some files from flashbbot rom to recreate your new NVRAM:

I used Chrome to translate the page. It works like a charm with phones with the Mediatek MT67** SOCs

You will use MAUI META and SP Meta tools and the files from your fastboot ROM.

It seems to be more user friendly with SN Writer if it works for you. Both IMEI & Wifi fixed PERMANENTLY. I got the problem when I did a bad flash using MTK-Flashtool, my Redmi Pro was unlocked and not rooted when I had the problem.

Have you tried with SN Write version 1.1648? Only this version works for me on my Redmi Pro. All the other are giving me error loading DB file. If you are not getting error loading the DB file, be patient, it takes 5~10min to complete. I only check to update IMEI and Wifi MAC

I use SP flash to re-flash an old version of the Chinese stable official ROM v8.0.1.0 and use the DB files from that version in SN Writer. Remember to use SN Writer v1.1648

I tried with Maui Meta but didn´t work because gives my error loading the DB file. I did flash again with format and download and then use SN Writer v.1648, how you said, and the I got to repair imei.
