Hey guys,

Did anyone pickup the turbo 4 pro yet? I picked it up, its very good, just waiting patiently to see hopefully it will be supported by the community, I want to put at least a global rom, cause in Canada the Chinese rom just doesn't work well, but even the global rom isnt available

No, I haven't done anything yet, but I can unlock the bootloader, just waiting for a global Rom or the. EU version before I do anything

If you don't live in China, you will not be able to unlock it.

Now that the global Rom is out, do I even need to unlock the bootloader to install it? Since it's an official file, can't I just do a local install or fastboot flash it?

Did you get anything? I just bought it and I really want it with the global ROM, but if not, I could wait longer to install it.

when i try to use Mi Unlocking tool i get this error

"The place where the account is registered does not match the place where the phone is sold".

Should have done the research before ordering. You can't even begin any unlocking process of a Chinese device with a non-Chinese account.
Even Chinese users with Chinese accounts are reporting that it's nearly impossible to get permission to unlock.

I knew it, i might not be able to do it.
I need a Xiaomi phone with xiaomi dialer so i can use call recording without announcement.

i always follow Xiaomi.eu formu for the eu rom for all my xiaomi devices. I love you guys so much for this rom.

i had before Poco F1, Poco X3 Pro, Poco M3, Poco F4 Gt.
In Poco F4 GT(Global) i am currently using Xiaomi.eu rom.
Then i buy Poco X7 Pro(Global) but xiaomi.eu rom not released no support. so i sold the Poco X7 pro.

Now i bought Redmi Turbo 4 Pro with chines rom at lease i can use the xiaomi dialer.

i am thinking to buy Indian version of Poco F7. I saw some youtube tutorials there is xiaomi dialer available.
