RN7 unlocks without asking for a pin

My phone's lockscreen pin has been set yet I can unlock my phone by just pressing the power button. I'm on MIUI 11 v20.1.21

I think G has an option to skip PIN for selected WIFI networks.

Does it happens on every WiFis or on 3/4G?

Tried to look it up and found out about google smart lock, just turned it off on settings/password & security/privacy/advanced/trust agents
Not sure though if it actually solved the issue but lock screen works for now which usually does everytime I restart my phone, gonna observe it for a couple of days.
