Is it possible to move from weekly to stable when stable version is higher than weekly currently installed on the phone?

It's is not recommended to do it without formatting data, but you are free to try, sometimes it works. Obviously you should backup your data before trying.

Thanks for your answer.

That's what i've understand because the ststem apps versions are downgraded.
But in case of old weekly version, so, lower than the current stable, the system apps are higher in stable ROM.
So, is there another things that I don't understand with the difference between weekly and stable?

I'm actually on latest stable ROM Mi 11 Ultra.
And I want to try the weekly.
But weekly on Mi 11 Ultra will be stopped on 20 september by Xiaomi.
So my question is to know if return to stable (when the next stable will be accessible in few months) could be done?

But with your answer and what i read on the forum, I understand that nobody know really if it works

So, I need to think about this migration to weekly before install it
