[rom] Ivan's Aosp Lollipop 5.1

One question (maybe someone note it before). Version 5.5.7 is not rooted by default, Am I right? I had to flash SuperSU manually
For me it was already rooted, supersu was there as well (even though I couldn't see supersu in the app drawer)

BTW this rom works very nice, probably the best rom I ever flashed on this phone. And now with gravitybox it's perfect

Sincerely so far so pleased. No reboots no lags, all is smooth and fast.
Maybe further I'll try to merge partitions for testings on the other ROM, but by now . . .
It is the same rom but you can keep your 2 partitions in case you want to ga back to 4.4.
I have no problems after at least one week and you seems happy too so why would merge your partitions ?

You're right @Suspiria
I'm very satisfied with this ROM, so we better enjoy our wonderful Mi2.
I'm only merging partitions if I'll have to.

Now that GravityBox is working on Android 5.1, I join in the club, coming from first biuild Ivan's AOSP 5.0.
Full wipe from CMW 6.0.5.0, flashed latest modified version and after installed succesfully Xposed.
Let's test.

I just installed it version 5.1.1 and nothing, there is no xposed module and even after installing gravity box, nothing, gravitybox doesn't work, it close because the dev branch is unreachable.
We are on 5.1.1 so we should install GB 5.1.1 or 5.1.0 ?

Mabye you have some problems during Xposed installation.
Do you have enough space on system (I uninstalled some system app before like browser and e-mail)?
The last version of GB is 5.1.0, it should work.

seems like there is a new cm12.1 by ivan (based on 5.1.1):
http://www.miui.com/thread-2559235-1-1.html

can someone make a new topic for this? (im too lazy)
Because it is all Ivan builds I will reupload CM12.1 to Yandex Disk and it will be here.
Patience please, I am uploading right now...
zipalign can edit and rename this thread to Ivan`s Aosp Lollipop 5.1.1 and CM 12.1 or whatever...

Read careful because I almost bricked my phone unmerging partitions to original:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-2/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-0-t3032286/page33
Well it work for me but it was terrible experience, as I told you I was bricked my mi2s...
Now everything is ok but I don`t really know safe procedure, anyone else will help you I`m sure.

Thanks. Gapps pico uni is too big fot his rom.

How did you install this one it is 400mb and pico uni is 45 and it is too big.
Yes, but you must have m11kkaa`s Partition resize:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-2/orig-development/flashtools-miflash4linux-recovery-qdl-t3036730
http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=8360#downloads
But you can do it without it when you install cm12.1, then remove browser, email or such system apps that you dont use it.
There is apps to remove system apps like this one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.droidware.uninstallmaster&hl=en
When you remove those apps, you will have space to install gapps from recovery again...
edit:
I have bigger system 1023MB because of m11kkaa (M1cha) partition.

Am I the only one experiencing problems with WiFi? Sometimes it seems like I don't have a connection even if I'm connected to it. It doesn't always happen, just some times, randomly

Hi,
what are your first impressions about the ROM (cm12.1)?

Didn't tested too much, just installed in system two and checked for a few minutes, very similar to last ivan's rom + xposed + gravityBox. I have no time this week sorry :(
