Hello,

I have the latest weekly release and I can't get to root it. So far I tried with two versions: SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip

And SuperSU-v2.79-201612051815.zip

Both of those versions (the 1st one being the latest) break my boot image (I guess) as the phone won't start and stay in fastboot mode.

How I install :

I open the zip in twrp and wipe cache after installing. I also tried without wiping and still no chance.

What should I do? What do I do wrong?

Thx

I had the same issue trying to root with Magisk v12 but finally got it to work following this post on XDA: forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72150023&postcount=10
Using older versions of Magisk root worked on last Xiaomi.eu weekly.
3. Download Magisk v9 (.zip) from downloadmirror.co/Usj/Magisk-v9.zip
4. And phh’s SuperUser from here downloadmirror.co/Usk/phh-superuser-magisk-r266-2.zip
5. Put both files on your phone and boot into recovery.
6. Flash Magisk, then flash phh’s SuperUser then reboot.
7. Install phh’s SuperUser app from the Play Store.
