New Screen refresh rate problem

When a youtube video is playing the refresh rate drops to 30(not all videos and some make it drop to 60 if the 120 was on)
But most of the time it drops to 30 and it becomes impossible to use the phone while watching a video.
Any way to fix it?
My phone is poco x3 nfc i'm on xiaomi eu 14 and it started happening after updating to android 12.

I don't think it's a problem, the screen refresh matches the content fps to save battery
