I installed it on MI2S and my screen stayed at MI logo, trying downloading the file and doing it again...

Sounds like u didn't flash a rom after the resize. The Script disables TDB and deletes all userdata and installations.

so this is easy to fix. just boot into recovery and flash whatever u like
No need to re-execute the resize-script.

BTW why the download-counter s still at 0? devhost seems to be buggy

Yes, but if you do that your phone won't boot up because the bootloader is setted for both system partition, not one
You may restringe it to a small one

Yes, maybe your script can ask the user for the partition sizes(so it's possible to revert to original or make system1 1kb in size)

The bootloader doesn't care about system,system1,userdata and storage
I deleted them and could still boot into recovery.
