New security

i recently installed mini v 4 2.3.30 . its a great ROM and i love it. i had installed many versions of android 4.0 but i had to remove them due to issues. the issue I'm having with this is that it crashes whenever i set a lock screen pin or password or pattern. if i remove the security, it work fine. what can i do?
also the application protection does not seam to work(maybe i do not know what it supposed to do). it doesn't hide applications nor does it prevent opening it. is that how it should work?

well, it was in the version i was using before updating to 2.3.30

Weird, application protection was reported to be working on Thursday evening this week when I was testing with the beta team here.

you are not alone, i have the same problem, right now, i am not using a lock screen password , my phone is open.
where did you get the mini lock screen that u installed?

tell me if it is ok in ur fone..

thanks for the info. i tried it, it did install but it didn't work. let's hope something will come up on friday.
