SMS are not receiving while playing game or playing video in my MI3

Hello All,
I wont be able to receive any SMS while playing any game or playing any video in my MI3 mobile.
It just gives me a pop up message " Unfortunately , messaging has stopped , Report MIUI | OK "
But the sender will get the delivery report, though i wont see the SMS. Attaching the screen shot of the error message also here .
could anyone please help on this bug and help me to resolve this issue .
