Hi everyone,
I recently updated my Xiaomi 14 to HyperOS 2.0 and decided to test how it handles different streaming apps (live TV, sports and movies).
Here’s what I noticed after testing for several hours over WiFi and mobile data:
Device: Xiaomi 14
Version: HyperOS 2.0 Stable
Brightness: 70%
Network: 5GHz WiFi
I also tested a few live TV streaming apps including Magis TV, and surprisingly it ran smoothly without crashes on HyperOS 2.0. I didn’t need to change any special settings.
Has anyone else tested streaming apps after the HyperOS update? Curious to know if your battery drain is similar.
Looking forward to your feedback.

- No major frame drops during HD streaming
- Device temperature stayed between 38–41°C
- Battery drain: around 8–10% per hour
- Stereo speakers performed well with no audio delay
