Stuck In Process Of Flashing Rom

hello,
I a`m compleet new in xiaomi devices. i reed al post here and decide to buy the redmi pro.
I follow the starter post .
When i want to do the full wipe. He tells me that it`s not possible.
So i did the unlock tool again. And it says that its not needed anymore.

I can acces the TWP, i did try to do everything again. but it`s not working.
Also the flash tool from Xiaomi doens`t flash the rom back.

unable to mount storage

so something doesnt go right

I would try to install the rom. then wipe, then install again.

it was not possible to do the wipe. i did a format. That helped. its rebooting now with the rom!
so it could be a solution to others.

yes that worked.
so what was my problem?
I did the root,
flash the recovery TWP.
After that a mount, data wipe etc was not possible.
After a format with twp. I could do a mount wipe and installation.

The point is you did not read through the first page of instruction for flashing.
Most Xiaomi devices need giving a Data format to be able to use TWRP properly.
My experience is from Mi5 then Redmi Pro/
