Stuck on MIUI logo

Hi, I am trying to install the custom rom MIUI 12.5.2.0 on Xiaomi Mi 8, but got stuck on MIUI start screen after flashing the rom. I followed every step of the installation guide (I did format data), and did with latest twrp.
I am coming from latest Pixel Experience (Android 13), maybe related to that?

The steps I did since coming from PixelExperience rom:
1. Format data
2. Installed twrp recovery (I had PE recovery before)
3. Format data again
4. Flashed xiaomi.eu rom
5. Stuck on rom logo MIUI when booting

got it working flashing fastboot global image of miui 12 with Official Mi Flash Tool and then installing again xiaomi.eu from (following all the steps).
