Tested on both stable and DEV versions:
- HOUJI_OS1.0.42.0.UNCCNXM_14
- HOUJI_OS1.0.24.7.28.DEV_14
When I start the "Settings -> My Device -> Back up and restore" application at first time I see a message that the application need some permissions and there are several switches:
It seems that after I click on "Agree" button with all permission switches on, all needed permissions will be granted. But actually the permissions aren't granted:
If I try to start a recover operation, it won't be any error: just tap on "Restore" button does nothing. I've seen similar reports on the forum BTW - this could be a reason.
If I manually grant permissions then tap on "Restore" button will start the backup restore.
There are no such error on stock ROM and restore works without manual permission's change; tested on OS1.0.11.0.UNCRUXM_14.0. The permissions UI looks different though:
