Theme Manager in xiaomi.eu ROM crashes

Hey there!
So I installed xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote8T_V11.0.5.0.PCXMIXM_v11-9 successfully.
Though I noticed, whenever using any feature which is related to Themes, the app crashes (e.g. changing the theme via the settings, trying to browse for more notifications or ringtones in settings, using Themes).
This only happens when being online, not when there is no internet connection.
I did a factory reset already, flashed the ROM again and can reproduce the same behaviour.

Is this how it is supposed to be? I could not find any more clear details about this specific behaviour on the forum.
Is there otherwise a way how to use Themes without it crashing or is that just not possible in the xiaomi.eu ROM when being online?

Today I reflashed the latest MIUI 11 (20.3.26) on my RN8 and the same thing happened to me. The themes app (and all related features) are messed up.

this problem is general and eu rom everyone is also ui 1 versions but a person does not say wait it will be fixed or the problem is due to this ..

Turn off internet connections themes work or not work incorrectly.
