Hi, my friend is android entusiast. He has china version of mi 11.
He unlock bootloader first. After it he compile lineageOS in user mode. He found way to do it an install his own custom signing keys on MI 11 so that he can boot operating systems signed by the with relocked bootloader. He change part of the android verifed boot v2 on this phone with his generated keys. Aftr do it, mi 11 boot with locked bootloader and lineageos, lineage could be upgraded and every safetynet passed (device secure too).
I dont know it could help to develop xiaomi eu to work better or with locked bootloader, but i would like to gave info and if it could help please him to contact devs.
