[Tutorial] [mi3] How to get multiwindow feature on your MI3

Hey Friends
I was able to get the multi window feature work on my Mi3. I thought i should share it with all of you. Here are the screen shots of what you will get:

Step 1: Root your phone.
If you are useing stable INDIA BUILD 18 ROM, you can do it this way http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=30203&highlight=root+india

Step 2: Install WSM Tools
Install it using these stepshttp://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=8784&highlight=WSM+tools

Step 3: Open WSM Tools. Go to "Online" Tab. Click on repositories and choose "Xposed".



Step 4: Search for "XHaloFloatingWindow" and download it. go to "modules" tab in WSM tools and turn "XHaloFloatingWindow" on.



Step 5: Download and install "Multiwindow Sidebar" APK :



Step 6: Open MultiWindowSidebar app and select "App Launch Mode". Choose XHaloFloatingWindow as shown in image below:



Step 7: Now again in MultiWindowSidebar app menu go to Select Apps and add all the apps that you want to add to the sidebar and use for multi tasking.

Step 8: Give the show popup permissions to XHaloFloatingWindow and MultiWindowSidebar app.
To do this go to Settings > Apps > Downloaded . Choose XHaloFloatingWindow. Turn on Show popup window. Similarily do for MultiWindowSidebar app as well.

Step 9: REBOOT

Step 10: Open MultiWindowSidebar App and click on Toggle Service. and ........ ENJOY

Again try this at your own risk. I tried and it worked for me. there are small ignorable bugs like the multi window doesnt work in first attempt. But this feature is extremely useful for the users who do multitasking.

Note that it works for almost all phones I think
