TWRP for Redmi 6 cereus (non Pro)

Hi Community,

does any of you have a source for a TWRP img for the normal Redmi 6?
only found some shady links in the deeps of google:

I try to install this TWRP on my Redmi 6 unlocked. Every is OK with the fastboot command but it never boot to recovery (Volume + Power ou fastboot command)

i got TWRP running on my unlocked Redmi 6 (which was a gift for my wife) - its 3 month now and catching dust

no other roms than the offical one work for me...

if you have a problem and want help

- provide an error message / code
- describe what the problem is
- tell the steps you tried in the order you did
- also tell us what else you tried to fix it

otherwise nobody can and will help you

Thanks for the prompt.

Basically, I had done the fastboot flash recovery twrp.img etc.

So by default, my twrp would had been installed. However, when I tried to fastboot reboot, it does nothing. And when I manually reboot it, it shows the Mi recovery instead of TWRP.

Thus would to get any advice on this. Thanks.

put the twrp img on an micro sd card.
then: fastboot flash boot twrp.img
fastboot reboot
wait a bit my twrp (no an officel one takes half a minuten and starts with display off)
-> shortly tipp on off key after a minute or so (if display is off in recovery)

if you are in twrp go to mount and mount sd card.
than go to install set from zip files to img
select the twrp img and install it to recovery from within the booted twrp.

Yes.
Reboot phone hold down vol- button untill you see the fastboot bunny.
connect phone to PC

on pc type
fastboot devices

it should list a device with an alphanumeric id.

than type the flash command.

you can reboot from cmd or with the buttons of the phone.

to be sure you can flsh the twrp img to boot and recovery and while reboot hold vol+
so no matter what happens you get into recovery.
than flash img from inside of it

as far as i know the only person i hear of is MarkHUK:

besides his linked statement i only read ablout ppl with the same problem.

Also most realeases dont even feature download links for the HM6 ... the newest weekly has the same booterror as all the other eu releases had.

I try on my Redmi 6 and after install Xiaomi.eu in twrp i had a repeated bootloop. Is a issue wirh install twrp on this phone. After that PC not see phone, i on mtp but not see too.
I copy rom for sc card, install, do wipes etc and reboot to system and i have a bootloop to sign "Mi" and phone again restart.

I back to Global Beta and work fine. Twrp and Xiaomi.eu for this phone not work good and not compatibile.
