Hi there, I have just unlocked my 9T (EEA/Global) and tried to flash TWRP, without succes.

It just ignores all the flash commands and does not boot into TWRP. Volume-Up boots in original Mi recovery.

Device-Info ADB:
Code:
List of devices attached
da8121cf device product:davinci_eea model:Mi_9T device:davinci

  • Current ROM is MIUI Global 10.3.7.0 PFJEUXM
  • USB debugging is active
  • OEM unlock is active

Here is what I did:
Code:
fastboot.exe getvar anti
anti: 1
finished. total time: 0.001s

fastboot.exe flash recovery recovery-TWRP-3.3.1-0607-REDMI_K20-CN-wzsx150.img
target reported max download size of 805306368 bytes
sending 'recovery' (65536 KB)...
OKAY [ 1.490s]
writing 'recovery'...
OKAY [ 0.343s]
finished. total time: 1.833s

fastboot.exe flash misc misc.bin
target reported max download size of 805306368 bytes
sending 'misc' (8 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.009s]
writing 'misc'...
OKAY [ 0.002s]
finished. total time: 0.012s

fastboot.exe boot recovery-TWRP-3.3.1-0607-REDMI_K20-CN-wzsx150.img
downloading 'boot.img'...
OKAY [ 1.492s]
booting...
OKAY [ 0.129s]
finished. total time: 1.623s

It just reboots system after last command - without any error message.

Also, after trying this, Wifi is not turing on anymore..
Any ideas?
THANK YOU!

I solved the problem on my Mi 9T

Make sure you flash the misc.bin file too!

So the total thing would be:

Go to the folder where you put the twrp-recovery.img and rename to recovery.img. Put the misc.bin file from this link in the folder. (i know its the K20 Pro misc.bin file, it still works though).
Then shift+right click in the folder and open command prompt:
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash misc misc.bin
fastboot reboot recovery

Thank you, great! That worked for me too.

Now my phone boots up with a redmi logo and identifies as K20 in settings, not as 9T anymore.
Yours too?
