Hi everyone, I would like to upgrade from xiaomi.eu stable 11 to xiaomi.eu 12 stable. I already have the unlocked bootloader installed
Twrp
Magisk,
Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt.
Is the procedure to be followed simply to flash the rom from twrp? with only wipe cache and devil cache?

It's written in first Post what you have to do. Upgrade from 11 to 12 is a major Update, so Format Data is mandatory. Backup your importan files first!
  • boot into recovery
  • FORMAT /data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)
  • reboot to recovery (Important!)
  • Copy our ROM to the internal storage
  • Install our ROM
  • Reboot
  • done
  • reboot to recovery, flash magisk

ok so you have to do:
Delete -Format data-yes? ......
and then reboot into recovery!
magisk must flash it again even if it is already installed?

You don't have to format data. As you are moving from stable to stable
Your first post was correct.
And, yes you have to flash magisk after each ROM install
But always have a backup

YES!

but you wrote "FORMAT / data partition (NEVER wipe System or Persist!)"

I just flashed the rom but after restarting it keeps restarting !!!
It's completely normal if you used "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt" before...
Install "Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt" again, it should fix your boot issue. ;)

then summarizing: I install the xiaomi.eu 12, then I restart in recovery and flash dm verity?

if I disable the DM verity? i saw that there is a LAZYFLASHER tool to disable dm verity

I advice to not use "dm_verify" anyway, follow the installation instructions ("Format Data" if you can't boot). ;)
This.
You are coming from stable MIUI11 -> stable MIUI12, so it is technically another ROM even when labeled "stable".
so thats why i advice you to Format data like in the instructions.
from stable 12.0.X to stable 12.0.X maybe you don't have to FORMAT DATA.
Anyways, I always follow the instructions and never got any problems.
What is DM-verify? I never used it.
