Hello,

unfortunately on system start and sometimes the "Updater" App is popping up or rather I get a notify the app crashed. I know that updates are not OTA available.

Is there any possibility to cancel the app or rather it doesn't pop-up anymore?

Greetings and thank you

By the way is there any possibility to donate for the MIUI EU Project?

Maybe you can use a third party app market. I am using a Chinese one called Coolapk.

Ah yes, sorry, I don't know why I have answered this! you can just manage permission for the app in the installed apps section but I don't know if you can stop the app completely...

Hey,

I tried everything what was in my mind including the permissions. That is the reason why I ask here :) Unfortunately there is no option to change the permissions of the app (Option locked).

Maybe it is a bug?

Greetings

It seems that some errors appear to some people and not others. I have forced close message using the native camera app, but it seems it is working well for others. Perhaps cleaning Dalvik cache? or reinstalling the rom as last solution?

Unfortunately a new flashing of the ROM doesn't help. :(

I get the same but it only seems to appear once on reboot hoping it's fixed in the next release.

I had exactly the same problem when I flashed the ROM version 7.7.6 (this is the most recent weekly version). I then downloaded the recommended weekly ROM 7.5.18. After flashing, the problem is gone! Pending a stable version, I am satisfied with this version :)

I've never downgraded a rom before, is it that hard to do? Or can I just flash it like a normal rom, in twrp, or do I have to wipe everything and start from scratch?

wipe and flash but WHY, it only fix updater app, i think don't downgrade, just wait miui 9 for mi pad 3 for 1 month.

Yeah, waiting a month for miui 9 might be better, but I'm also having problems with otg usb drives which I'm wondering if downgrading might fix.

Yeah thinking the same can't wait for miui 9 as I think it should clear the last couple of issues with this great tablet.
Now update is available for Mi Pad 3. Do I need to do wipe or do any other stuff in TWRP? Or can I just flash ROM and reboot tablet to get update?
