updating MIUI rom steps?

i boot into recovery mode,

nand back up

wipe all userdata

flash from zip miui-n1-0.12.18-deodexed_miui-dev.com

then miui-0.12.18_N1-EN_PACK1

and get nothing but errors?

what are the errors? and what version are you using before update. Do you have a n1?

By the way I never do a wipe to update.

i get the start up/setup errors, it wont even pull up the "touch the android to begin" screen.

If I undertand you, you haven't flashed this rom yet?

Can you do your procedures with some other rom?

Try this one, may be something in the other that is not working for you. Kernal etc.
