I have read an article, that many android phones can be deleted by an special USSD Code. At the first time the news said that only Samsung Phones are affected. But now there are many other phones affected, for example the Mi1 too. So I think, that all phones who used the MIUI ROM are affected.
The german computer newspaper c't has created an easy test for it. Here is the link to the QR Code (http://www.heise.de/security/dienste/USSD-Check-1717811.html). If the bug is existing, you would see the IMEI Number of your phone. Phones with an android version 4.1 are not affected.
The workaround for that problem is to install an app from the market. (TelStop, NoTelURL or USSD Filter).
My question is, is in one of the next weekly updates an resolution for this bug ?
