Weird Miui Behaviour / Mi Note 7.1.3.0 (kxecnck)

Hello all,

I am experiencing a weird behaviour of my phone in the last few weeks.

All started with the phone changing Dual-SIM option by itself with no involvement on my side by switching internet to secondary SIM while deactivating text messaging and telephony on my main SIM-card.

Parallel to that the phone starts to switch on the mobile mobile internet option additional too Wi-Fi even though when I had set the phone to Flightmode. This behaviour usually starts when battery is around 20% and then battery gets drained rather quickly so I find out only late when remaining level is somewhere around 6%. I normally start charing between 30 to 20%.

I have no clue what could cause this. Any ideas?

How do I back up? Mi Suite is not working. Any idea?

Do you have a modded recovery?

I have done nothing on the phone except vor installing 7.1.3.0.

Have you installed your current rom version with Updater app?

Either that or Fastboot recovery. Not via external Flash Software

So you have still Xiaomi's official Stable ROM. Right?

I am on MIUI by xiaomi.eu 7.1 Stable 7.1.3.0 (KXECNCK). No weekly updates.

Like the same mode you update last time, you should update now to miui v8.

Both ways via Update App and Recover Update result in a fail and the phone ending up constantly in recovery screen. Great!

Install a modded recovery (TWRP) and flash the rom with it.
