Invalid What happened to the updater?? [Mi 9T — 21.4.28]

What happened to the updater app? I already updated my version and it still says there's an update available, and it's the same version I already installed. I always encounter this issue. I much prefer downloading the update zip from sourceforge or androidfilehost and just choose update package.. and as you can there's an overlapping of texts it says 12.5 but the development version is now 12.6 as far as I know..
