Hi guys!

Always wondered what is the proper way of updating the MIUI. As I always want to stay with the latest version, but don't want to reinstall all of the apps. Should I always make a backup in MIUI options and then in CWM Recovery:

* wipe data/factory reset
* wipe cache
* wipe dalvik cache

Or can I just skip factory reset in CWM ?

As far as i understand you can just flash the new version over the old one. If there's a problem afterwards you can start whipping cache(s), fix permissions or do a factory reset, whipe cache(s) and re-flash the new one...

The best way to update is to use the MIUI "Updater" app thats pre installed when you root to MIUI. Thats what I used today to get the 1.10.28 update version
