I already wrote it in the HyperOs stable thread but seems nobody really reply as I guess nobody experience it, hopefully here someone have any idea...
Basically I was on Xiaomi.eu Stable Miui 14, when I saw the HyperOS stable out I made the upgrade using TWRP (the A13 Twrp I had...) after install I saw some errors in the end but I ignored and just continued... HyperOS was booted successfully but no WiFi, I went to TWRP again and noticed it already changed it to the A14 twrp, I tried reflash the HyperOS, still no WiFi.... Tried reflash using fastboot method, still no WiFi....
checking adb logs would show :

(When pressing to turn on the WiFI)

Any idea how to solve it without going on the format data route as it would be a nightmare for me, for now I handle my self without WiFi but it sucks alot.. ;(

Do you have a Mi 11 Pro or Ultra?
Some users have been reported wifi issues because overheating in hardware. Moreover, some devices died suddenly because of that. I had a Mi 11 Pro two years ago, and it died after upgrading ROM.

Having MI11 Ultra, I'm pretty sure it's no way hardware issue as WiFi was completely fine before I made this upgrade to HyperOS..
from log it looks like it cant load wifi driver due to something that missing?

my last resort would be to format and go back to miui14 just to verify but I'm pretty confident that there is no chance hardware failed at the same moment I made the upgrade ;/

I hope you can solve this problem. Please report here, I also have a Mi 11 Ultra now, and I need some feedback before updating from MIUI14 Stable to HyperOS.

Updating... well seems no Rom issue, I did full format and installed fastboot stable china rom miui14, still no wifi... I guess really in the same moment I made the upgrade something destroyed the wifi connection as you said ;-(

I have the same issue after upgrade to 1.0.9 on my 14 Ultra, everything else works fine, do you have mobile data?

Yes mobile data is okay, only WiFi, I think if I read correctly for your MI14 models issue is with the modem and something like that, here unfortunatly it's probably hardware as I tried reformat to miui 14 and nothing..

That's bad, im using my 11 Ultra as Backup right now, but still on miui 14, so not updated yet.

Can you see the WiFi and it says can't connect?

Sent from my Mi 11 Ultra.

You would try to turn it on and it wont do anything, hotspot would say error, at first I thought it's something that went wrong during the upgrade so after hard decision I format data of everything and reverted to miui 14 with fastboot china files to make sure to rollout for sure any software issue, and same issue there..

CPU/soc can reach high temp when flashing in TWRP .
Probably that's when the wifi gets damaged or desoldered.

Same problem on mi 10 ultra, tried switch from Randomization MAC to Hardware MAC and it works again.

What ROM did you changed to?

Seems that I have the same wifi issue...
Try reset network settings.

So, after some digging, it seems that after I reboot the device, everything is working and I can see the Device WI-FI MAC address. After a while, it stops working and MAC address becomes "not available".

Anyone, any ideas on what it could be and how can it be solved?

Thanks!

I guess our problems are different from each other, although we all had this during the upgrade to the HyperOS, for me WiFi just not working anymore and all tests I've made (full format to previous versions and fastboot roms and everyting) didnt return it which lead me to confirm that it's probably got wrong during the flash of the rom (high temps?..) and reballing is needed as first comments suggested, still didnt do it and having for over a month a phone without wifi ;-(

I installed HyperOS on my Mi 11 5G on April 27, 2024, and after a factory reset and a calibration phase of 3 days (during which there was extreme battery drain with massive heat development), it ran very well until August 14, 2024. Then, sporadic WiFi errors started occurring (Wi-Fi dropped out, hotspot dropped out), and in the evening, it stopped working altogether. Resetting the connections didn’t help, nor did a factory reset. On August 15, I was offered an OTA update to HyperOS 1.0.5, which I downloaded using mobile data. WiFi still didn’t work. I did another factory reset, but WiFi still isn’t working. It seems to be a hardware bug. I bought a used Mi 11 5G as a demo device for very little money and patched it up to MIUI 14. For now, I’ve skipped HyperOS. I wrote to Xiaomi asking whether HyperOS is safe for the Mi 11 and particularly for WiFi or if they advise against it, but I haven’t received a response yet.

It should be safe, the issue is pretty much with the heat that causing the wifi to break, I bought a used motherboard from aliexpress, upgraded it to hyperos and all went ok wifi working..
when unfortunatly the previous motherboard wifi wont work anymore, reballing is suggested but nobody willing to help me to do it no any lab in my country so just left it as it is.
