Wifi connection issue

Got my brand new Xiaomi M1 in the post a couple of days ago, and so far, so good. The only issue I'm having trouble with is after unlocking the phone, the wifi doesn't reconnect. The wifi logo shows as having full signal, but navigating to a web page times out. This is quickly resolved by flicking the on/off button, but it gets a little tedious.

Any one else had this problem? Am on 2.9.21, and the router is set at 802.11g (as it's only capable of draft-N, and it sucks).

works nice here with 2.9.29 and 2.9.21.
you havent managed to block the browser in the monitor app so its not allowed to use wifi?

Doesn't look like it, but I've disabled the blocking function just in case anyway as I don't really need it.

Interestingly, using a static IP instead of DHCP seems to have solved the problem. So perhaps it's an issue with my router (Netgear DGN1000, piece of junk!)..

try to update the firmware for your router that might help and fix the issue
