Wifi Connection problem

To be clear. You did factory reset, so you wiped all your apps, your data and with default settings the problem is still on, even when you go and try connecting to other wifi, right?

So now you have only default apps installed. And it was working fine before and problem started when you installed a theme, and since then it's been like this. You enable wifi and after a while wifi disable itself even though you leave it like this and you do not do anything. When you turn off and on a plane mode it is working again, correct?

And you have Hongmi - Red rice. Which Miui version?

The problem is:
- when I activate WiFi it stays enabling for a long time and then turns off.
- sometimes flickers like trying to enable wifi (or enabling and disabling lots of times in a second)
- sometimes the icon on toggles stays half activated or "semitransparent" (and this makes the 3G data be stuck and stop working until I disable wifi)
- sometimes gets activated even though I didn't do anything and works ok for a random period of time (once in a day or 3 days and for 9 to 90 minutes) When this happens I can see the networks around me correctly.
- the plane mode trick doesn't work anymore and it only worked once (maybe I was just lucky).

It started after changing themes, but not inmediately, that was just the only thing that I had changed in the system before the wifi problem started.

Now I have 15.0.0 installed which was working great before. But I've tried 16.0.0 also.

Hm, your phone is so stubborn...
Can you post here build.prop in system folder, just to see if there isn't anything unusual. I am not aware of an existence of any program which can make a wifi module check. Maybe someone more experienced in hardware could help... Also have you ever checked you don't have a fake? Cpu-z, Antutu?

Install Total commander, open it and navigate to system folder and there it is. Just click on it, copy and post it.

My phone started disconnecting wifi again.
This is what happens:

Tried closing/restarting all app, including system proceses and only reboot helps.
The problem occurs every couple of days.
Any ideas?

Moorgate: Sorry mate, I really do not know.
You need somehow check if the wifi module isn't corrupted. Or you can try other ROM (wiui?) then you'll see if even there the problem occurs, if it is a software problem or not.

Tried reloading the kernel wifi module with rmmod/insmod but culdn´t get it to load again properly. I wish if i knew the proper sequence of modules. Reboot solves the problem every time, probably not a hw issue.
