Wifi Problem Speed Download

Hi!!

Wi-fi problem. I can not download more than 300 kb / s.
The same files that I download safely to 800 Kb / s or 1, 2 Mb / s. The same wifi network. I did speedtest from smartphones and marks me as a 11 mega. How is it that is so slow? exist a limit?

try a wipe cache &dalvik cache or a factory reset. You had this problem also on other roms (like china stable)

I have installed a lot of roms (global and chinesse, developer and stable) and I cant get a good values of downloads, but the uploads are all right. It's like mi5 has a limit in 500KBs.
Somebody Knows how get off this limit?

this limit is not the limit in download-> setting.
That is to 3G/LTE downloads

I have the same problem since updating from xiaomi.eu V7 stable to V8 stable.

Before, I had 1.8 MB/s (WiFi over DSL 16 MBit), now I have 300 KB/s.

I have the same problem. I'm on Stable 8.0.12.0. Using a zip file from George TIU to remove the restriction is really works. Thanks George TIU, appreciate your sharing

I have the same Problem with Redmi Pro on 6.9.22.
Would like to know the reason for the speed restrictions. Someone has an answer?
Further more it is no longer possible to set the wifi band manually! In the past for me it was a good solution to change from "automatic" to "2.4Ghz".

sory, don't take it personally...but if you ask that question, is better for you not to do anything until you watch some youtube tutorials, read some threads, unlock your bootloader, etc...

is for your phone own good to research a little.

btw I've checked wifi at work and the speed was extremly high...

we are refering to download in day to day basis...not just some testing or benchmark software.

try download mortal combat (huge game ~1 gb of data, aand see the download speed. you can activate in settings>notifications & status bar> show connection speed.
