Xiaomi 15 Pro

So I also pulled the trigger on th 15 Pro and for the first period will use it with the CN ROM, but would like to know if there are any recommendations for debloating. I know there are many extensions with xposed but that requires root, is there a possibility to install xposed without root? Or any other recommendations for blocking ads and getting extra features that don't require bootloader unlock. I would love to know what would @ingbrzy recommend to do without bootloader unlock.

In any way of installing xposed framework, you will at least need an unlocked bootloader.
For debloating, you can use an adb connection in order to uninstall most pre installed apps, including 80% of what we would call spyware.

For blocking ads, I like to use AdAway project. It works with both root and non-root. For non-root, it will just host a local VPN server, acting like a router-based Adblock.

It is even not possible with 14 pro (shennong), via ncunlock, even not with an VPN able to have a Chinese Server. Imho this can be only done from now in with Chinese and lively mi Account and from China Mainland, though Community App says unlocking would be possible with my Account and device until 3/2025.

Thank you for all the helpful tips. I will definitely have a look at all of this.

I was in China last week and got one, I checked everything but I made the dumb mistake of forgetting about android auto...i've read about China ROMs gettin support for AA, does anybody have any update? I would like to avoid tampering with the phone honestly...for now.

In China, they have their own car ecosystem, which does not built on top of AA. So I guess they have no will to support AA.

Hi everyone, so I just tested and indeed, we cannot request the unlocking of the bootloader of the Chinese phone, only a Chinese account can request it and succeed, so we are stuck in rom cn what a shame, hoping that a dev can find a solution.

I really enjoy the phone, I hope we get a way to mod it "soon" otherwise I might sell it and wait for EU release... :(

Hi yes very good phone. I hope we can block it one day to be able to have my language on the whole phone correctly there, I used setedit but still a lot of English on it.

You can unlock the bootloader on the CN version, outside of China, only through a paid site, such as NCulocker.

Hmm, but in PL i see there is easy to buy Xiaomi 14T Global 512GB!!! for only 485 EUR, better choice for me
