New Xiaomi mi A1 poor 4G since July update

Since July update, the A1 fails to stay on 4G networks. Where other phones, on the same network and good signal, stay on 4G with good throughput, , the A1 has low throughput and doesn't stay on 4G for long time.
August update didn't change anything.
Some friends with the same phone, on the sane network (Orange FR) has exactly the same problem.

Is this problem known ? when will it be fixed ?
Any workaround ?

The Mi A1 is an AndroidOne device - the problem is known and there is a XDA-Thread with different flashable radios from several firmwares...you have to find the best working one for you...

I don't know if Xiaomi will do something related to the radio in future firmwares...you'll know after OTA. If it is too annoying for you, then there's the mentioned thread for you as a workaround.

What you can try, is to change the network type via dialer *#*#4636#*#* -> phone info 1/2...and see if it makes any difference for you.
