Good reason to unretire the other mipad roms (at least the stables). It feels a bit sad that the mipad 3 was only supported for a few months.

yes, that's the worry with this version as well.. How long before they shelf it like the others... It's not had the best track record for sustainability.

I'm still a bit annoyed about the Mi Pad 3, bought one because of the roms being made here and 2 weeks later they stopped! Hopefully the Mi Pad 4 is a bit more popular, it should be looking at the specs and prices!

There seems to be an LTE variant.
These things have never become popular previously, so why try again?

Alternative to Max3?

Only odd people like me seem to have any interest in these odd products.

There are not good affordable tabs available currently. With powerfull SD660, big battery, LTE option and unlockable bootloader this will be big hit with custom rom users/developers.

I still own my mi pad 2 but in my opinion, Xiaomi has the worst tablet support. They launch a new tablet and a few months later it became forgotten... Love xiaomi's phones and will buy more for sure but won't buy any more tablets from Xiaomi.

Intel and Mediatek chips are main reason, lets see how they do it with Qualcomm.

Not possible to make calls with the LTE variant apparently.
Completely uninteresting for me then.

Here is China developer roms. You can flash latest developer rom on top of stable with MIUI system updater app, it makes factory reset.

Might be best to unbind Mi Account before upgrading stable to developer so you don't need to unlock it at start, unlocking screen comes before language selection and it is chinese.

Hello ! I also wish your impressive team will make a xiaomi.eu ROM for the mi pad 4.
Best regards.

Buttons are in same order in english MIUI, you could try to do it side by side with another Xiaomi device. You might need to connect to wifi network first.
