Ever since we've updated our vacuum mop, the way it cleans the apartment is erroneous. It repeats cleaning the same room, goes to the corridor, returns to the same room, but maps it as another room, and continues doing this until we turn it off, or it runs out of power and returns to base.
Another issue we've been struggling with has been occurring since we got a rug. Since the rug has dark blue areas, the vacuum interprets it as a void, and won't proceed on those areas. Following advice on forums, we taped the sensors at the bottom of the robot, and it worked, the robot runs on the rug, but it does so erroneously, that is it doesn't complete a run across the room, wanders and turns in the middle of the room, and finally gets stuck in an infinite loop, running back and forth along the same strip of the room.
We would be very grateful for any advice.
