Hi there,
did anyone test using the XiaomiTool to flash MIUI 10 Global on the Xiaomi Mi6x? (Im a flashing newbie and Im kinda scared of making mistakes, but at the same time I´ve heard you could brick your smartphone)
The smartphone itself did arrive yet, but I believe it comes with the bootloader unlocked and with MIUI 9.5 global, flashed by the seller, if you want more details check the link in the end of this thread.
Thanks in advance,
oh, and sorry for my rubish english

There is no such thing as miui global for the 6x. There is China rom. A2 rom. Or miui.eu.

I used xioamitool adb sideload method to put China rom on a 6x that the reseller shipped with a custom 'global' rom. Then unlocked the bootloader and put miui.eu 10 on.

sorry its my mistake I realized now that the seller says that it is not global rom and its a china version, they just flash the new rom is the buyer asks them to do so.

From the seller:

"3.Is the ROM global ROM? Does it have multi-language and Google Play?
It's not global ROM. It's Chinese version. It's pre-installed Chinese ROM. It doesn't have multi-language and Google Play. But we can flash the customs ROM developed by Xiaomi.eu. It has multi-language and Google Play after flashing. It's very popular. Thousands of Mi fans have flashed it. Please be advised that it can't update by OTA. But it updates each month by Xiaomi.eu. You can install TWRP to flash the latest ROM.global ROM. You can choose the pre-installed ROM type. Chinese ROM one is cheaper. Customs ROM one is more expensive."

I would go with the option of the reseller installing xiaomi.eu, otherwise you have to wait a long time to activate the bootloader unlock.

I have seen your post about flashing the mi6x with the new anti rollback stuff. Does it have any chances of bricking the mi6x?
