Hi.. Sorry, I must have missed you're request to update SIAM. I'll add it in and release it on Friday..

Love this mod, but when I flashed the newest version, I no longer get the MIUI control panel settings app. Did I miss something? I reflashed it twice and it wasn't there. Any help is appreciated.

I changed the MIUI control panel settings app, it's no longer a system app, you'll see the MIUIsettings.apk in the download folder. Just copy it to your phone and install like any other app. You only have to do this once. (unless you do a factory reset or uninstall the app)

Hope this helps..

Is there a way you could do the color mods the same way you do the carrier banner. Like, where you could choose whether or not to go with default clock/battery bar color from the theme, or custom color. I think being able to choose from stock color or custom would make it better.

Another thing would be to make it to where you can move each element (signal, battery, carrier banner, etc...) to wherever on the status bar.

Also if we could have a dismiss notifications one by one mod that would be great. I don't always have time to look at all my notifications, as well, I don't wanna just dismiss all of them at once either. Is this even possible??

Hi.

I'm not sure I understand your point regarding colour. Could you explain further? As for your other s***estions, moving individual elements within the statusbar layout isn't possible. I don't know whether your last s***estion is possible, do you know of any other ROMS that have this functionality? If so, then it may be possible but I doubt I'd start a major MOD like that until after ICS comes along..

hello Andy, I recently went to miui for the first time, on evo3D, and your ES and volume+ are fantastic! thank you :) I actually wanted to tell you that it IS possible to move or hide individual pieces of the topbar. Not sure about miui, but some sense ROMs have this feature. It's part of a "tweaks" apk orginally built by Romanbb (smali genius like you) for his "Bulletproof ROM" on htc sensation. He opensourced his "tweaks" code fyi. Anyway, there are tweaks to hide individual things, like hide signal bars. If you want links or more info or something, I can troll around and try to find them, ask here or PM me on xda - same username. The last sense ROM I used that had the complete tweaks was "warm twopointthree" by "myn" on xda. I imagine these hacks would work across different platforms, and hopefully into miui. Thanks again for your work, it really is wonderful.

Hi andy,
when long pressing an Icon of an app on the new app drawer the whole thing FC and only reboot bring the appdrawer back

For the color, it'd be kool if you could make it change from either theme dependent or custom. Like without this mod, the clock and carrier color is determined by the theme. If you could make it go between theme based or custom using a toggle or something.

Skyraider has the functionality to individually dismiss notifications.

I also found this mod over at miui.us. http://forums.miui.us/showthread.php?p=34262

One last question..I have never used the Volume+. But I flashed it anyway. How do I use it to control the volume?

The title is a bit misleading. You use it to change tracks using the volume buttons while the screen is off. There us a seperate thread that explains it all.

Not really sure why you have posted a link to my own mod? But thanks anyway

SCI MIUI

Any special reason why I can´t get this working with the SCI MIUI ROM? I tried all the options in the first post to no avail.
Thanks

I didn't realize that one was yours lol. But it says it moves the signal bars around and stuff.... you had just said that was impossible..

I think andy said to move them *individually* was not possible. This mod for 1.11.18 has a setting for statusbar layout "switched" which swaps the icons (battery/signal/data on LEFT, notifications RIGHT).

@andy - I re-read the threads that use smali "tweaks" and I apologize, none of them actually seperate the icons, i.e data left, signal right. BUT, there is a tweak that hides signal bars altogether. If you could add that in, I'd be in heaven. Thanks again for your work.

Never heard of that ROM to be honest, if there's a forum for it you might be better off asking there.. Sorry I can't help..

YES..THAT'S IT EXACTLY!!!
I've been over this many times, there are two layouts, one for notifications and one for signal icons. Those can be moved around and individual icons inside them can be hidden, but you cannot move individual icons from one layout to the other.
So thanks for clearing that up, I'll look into adding the signal to the list of options..

I recently flashed this mod to my phone (Galaxy S2) but for some reason I can't figure out how to actually find it once it's been installed. There were no errors and everything seemed to install just fine. But when I reboot after flashing, I can't find it in my installed applications or in any of the MIUI sub menus. My boyfriend has the same issue on his phone (Galaxy S).

We are running Miui 1.11.18 with the no-overscroll version of the 1.11.18 mod.

I've tried searching for the answer for a while already but couldn't come up with a reason why it's doing this. Sorry if it's already been answered.

SOLVED - I didn't install the control APK along with it. Sorry.

I hope you get it :) a member of my team (team d3rp) on evo3D named "jdeloach" has been porting your stuff every week, and he has been having trouble getting the signal hidden, I hope you can do it. Thanks again.

Testing seems to be going pretty well, so hoping to add this extra option tomorrow. Just out of interest, any ideas why this mod has to be ported to the Evo3D? What is it in the Mod that doesn't work as standard?
