[2013-06-29] AOSP 4.1.1(QDT14)

It is not. But the resulting assembler code isn't that easily readable.
And the code optimizer's do crazy stuff with the code which makes reverse engineering even harder.

Is it possible to reduce Vibration on AOSP Rom? Last time i testet it was very strong compared to v5...

I've installed CWM, emptied data and installed this ROM. I get edge connection, but no data transfer. no HSPA, though I get HSPA+ with miuiandroid roms. Any ideas? Should I flash a radio seperately?
Update: I flashed JLB14 http://www.mediafire.com/?c28fkbe1zrbh0ei and no joy. Again, I can see the network, but there's no connection symbol in the status bar, and the browser doesn't connect. APN seems fine, too.

Whenever I take a photo with the MIUI camera app on AOSP it crashes and leaves behind a blank image file with no content (0 bytes size). Is anyone else having this problem?

Is the camera quality similar or the same as on MIUI V5?
It would be great if @M1cha could make a flashable zip with his V5 camera port for using it in WIUI v4
Thanks!

I think I've found a bug in this ROM. I have brightness set to Auto, but when I open up the MIUI camera, the backlight/brightness is changed so that it's no longer set to Auto. Can this be fixed somehow?

I don't know about others, but I've experienced the following issues so far:
  • Auto Backlight (brightness) gets turned off when I start the (MIUI) camera app.
  • When the phone goes to sleep, it becomes unresponsive to pings over WiFi even though the battery history says it was on. The practical effect is delayed notifications and/or no notifications until the phone is woken up again (i.e., I press the power button). I do not experience this issue when using the weekly miuiandroid builds, which is why I'm back to running MIUI even though I'd prefer to use an AOSP ROM.
  • There is a one-line pixel display glitch that shows up in the top line of the display from time to time, which others have mentioned elsewhere.
I'm curious whether others can confirm my experience of the first two issues...

Another question would be... can you get the MIUI camera working on those new 4.3 builds too?

you can do it yourself right ?
just remove camera.apk & gallery.apk from system/app folder & replace them with 4.3 version camera & gallery.apk !

A workaround for the glitch is to use battery bar mod in notification - it will overdraw the glitch. It is available e.g. in Xposed / XuiMod - BatteryBar Mod.

A partially satisfactory workaround for the automatic brightness adjustment being turned off after use of an app which changes the screen brightness is to use Xposed / Gravitybox - Status bar - Brightness Adjustment. While not automatic, it's at least fast to adjust it manually.

Sorry for waking up an old thread.
