i tried but it remained the same, i used this solution http://www.miui.it/forum/index.php?threads/guida-installazione-recovery-miui.2113/. But now after I finished the installation to 1.0 and i get the information that there is a new version. But when i try to install it it shows an error, install fail. how can i resolve this? All i wanted was to return to oficial rom and have ota upgrades i don´t mind keeping only english.
Any help please?

where did you get the rom, did you use the ota?

0. Disconnect USB mobile and turn off mobile.

4. Check the option DA DL ALL With Check SUM
5. Click on firmaware upgrade
6. Remove battery and connect USB to mobile. The process will begin.
7. If a green circle appears, then the process was success.

This instructions has been copied and translated from an Spanish-Forum. I don't know who was the first to create the package and the steps. (The Steps 0 (Zero) was added by me).

hello i followed these instructions, and i get a new official version on the updater however when i try to install it fails, any ideas
 
Hi mate , i think you have some ota trouble.try to dowload the official stable from xiaomi with pc and copy it in dowloaded_rom in sd card.try to start update from phone.on en.miui find also flash info.i 've update my red rice with this step : 1st wipe all data chache and dalvik , 2nd power off 3rd spflash stable 1 without change recovery to have a pure original xiaomi rom 4th i turn on phone config wifi and with browser download stable 4 and save it in dowloaded_rom ,start update from miui menu and reboot phone.it'all now i've an original xiaomi hongmi wcdma stable 4 english.work very smooth without bug.tip : sometime after you install several app ,power off phone so clean ram and all working flawless.hope my info help you.wish Merry Christmas at all Miui Developers and fan.Cheers.Simone

Can you try compass and still is here bug, when after rebooting the phone, options "Screen lock sound" and "Vibrate on touch" (All settings > Sound > System) are always TURNED ON , options "Vibrate in silent mode" and "Vibrate when ringing" (All settings > Sound > Vibrate) are always TURNED OFF ... :(

I checked every work , try after power off or restore factory.only one time was necessary recalibrate compass,but it work !

Not vibrate your strange problem is some data ghost this happen for bad wipe or buggy rom.something is a backup that when restored cause strange things....is convenient clean install apps from google play
 
Same problem here, at reboot I have to turn on Vibrate in silent mode" and "Vibrate when ringing
 
Same thing with my Hongmi W, haven't tried it in the Hongmi T. They both run on the latest multi build.

Hi, do you have the original stable 4 or multilanguage stable 4 ?

Has anyone with the Vibration issues tried a full clean wipe and no backup restore to see if the issue persists? if so what was the outcome please?

I install original recent version stable4 but the same mistake goes on I install multı4 but agaın it goes on but when I uploaded 3.12.13. there is no problem
 
I tested it out with a full clean sweep yesterday, but it is still there.
I haven't tested it before, because i like the haptic feedback, but it should stay how you saved it.
I will try it later with the Hongmi T.
The Hongmi W, will go away today, to it's new owner.

Edit: Hongmi T does NOT have this problem with the latest release.

Might be a stupid questions but I can't seem to find an accurate answer within the thread.
I have the official build from Xiaomi site (stable 4.0 for WCDMA), but the new features like calendar, weather, security manager, theme manager etc. are not present.
Is the multilanguage weekly build for the WCDMA coming with those features? If yes, where can one find it on the "Multi 3.12.20" thread (the Hongmi links seem to be the official stable ones, just translated)?

no more unofficial weekly for hongmi.. only official stable releases...
