Yea.. We will remove that from our roms.. They also changed ROM format from zip to .dat images...From en.miui.com: "After upgrading to MIUI China Developer ROM 6.1.14, Bootloader will be locked for Mi 4c and Mi Note Pro, just like Redmi Note 3"

I update XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 2 PRIME with updater or OTA, so can I still do that when bootloader gets locked?
I've read good and bad response about this, but isn't it a good thing to have our data more safe?

Regarding mentioned locked bootloader issue the Mi 4c and MiNote Pro devices affected only from release 6.1.14 china developer releases. Fortunately, as Ingbrzy said before xiaomi.eu releases are not affected.

For those, who have problems with Google services, delete and add again your account. Same problem with every update since 11.26 weakly on Hermes.

Can i on my mi4c with stable 7.0.16.0 update this stable rom xiaomi.eu_multi_libra_V7.1.4.0.LXKCNCK_v7-5.1.zip with xiaomi app installer?
I did, but didn' help.
And it's the first time i have this issue.

@ingbrzy Just saw on xiaomi that future updates will locked our bootloader.. Is it true ? multi rom also will locked or ? thanks

No, it won't. He said it a few messages ago. Multi eu will remain unlocked

Because officially there was not released flashable zip version for Mi2S due to new partition layout. So, this is the reason why fastboot MIUI7.1 stable version available only for Mi2S.
