Try few more things. Go to permissions and disable permissions manager, also go to developer option and disable miui optimization.
Try to lock apps in memory, open apps, list recent apps by pressing left navigation button and swipe down this two apps.
Just for info, do you use any type of memory, battery or general android tweaking tools?
What apps you are testing, i have same rom and device, maybe i can check on mine how it behave.

Hi severica25, thanks for your answer. So here are some additional information:

- Permission manager <- already disabled
- MIUI optimization <- if you mean "memory optimization" under developer settings, it's already disabled.

I don't have any tweaking apps installed, just a few for diagnostics but they never run in background nor they have optimization features.
the apps are "Velis auto brightness" and "3G Whatchdog Pro". The two apps always appear as automatically locked in task manager so it's not necessary to lock them manually.

It seems to me that the system goes in a "deep sleep mode" after 10-20 mins (with screen off) and no matter I do all tasks are terminated. Maybe the UI settings do not reflect the real kernel behaviour for a sort of mysterious bug.
As a desperate attempt, I also tried to convert the Velis auto-brightness to system app (using Link2SD Pro) but it keeps getting closed after a while.

:'( crying

Good morning Srs

my device is a MI2 (s)

I have a problem in a few rooms back, Strava i turn on the GPS signal catches me and all is well, but if I turn off the screen lose the Strava i signal is paused automatically and stops recording the route.

There any way that does not pass this ??

It does the same with wikilog or TomTom.

Can someone help me.

Congratulations on your work P.D

Buenos dias Srs

Battery drain analyzer will show you average battery consumption per hour, as example 1% battery spend in 1 hour etc. This can give you base for later comparisons if you'll enable some other tweak option in lspeed which is more speed oriented.
If Lspeed didn't gave you good battery life you can try Skynet script, it have option to tweak your device to lower battery spend, its called Battery mode.

Ok Severica, I have to say that Lspeed works very well. In standby the phone use much less battery, Android system only 3% battery, thanks again

Did not see the newest 7.3.10.0 Gemini ROM at first, because it does not have Gemini in the name, like 7.3.4.0 does.

Is there a changelog available for 7.3.4.0 -> 7.3.10.0?

Thanks!

tried 7.3.10, many issues with this rom

google FC, built in browser FC, bank application cannot sync, takes 300MB more ram, I go back to stable 7.2.13 still the best for mi5

Here what you can do to avoid your issue:

1. Turn off "Manage apps battery usage"
2. Disable "Permission Manager"
3. Enable your navigation app in Autostart
4. Lock your navigation app in memory

Can anyone please help me here or on Skype?
Im too stupid, or what ever.

I have unlocked the bootloader (at least I think I did)
I downloaded the gimini 6.30 latest version for Mi5
And now I have no f****** idea how to flash it.
I have to install first twrp and root it correct?
How can I do that - I'm not able :(

Would be great if someone can safe my day.
Thx

I downloaded it too, we could compare our stats from battery drain. Of course graph changes a lot,cos I guess we have different usage, but we could have a better idea. Let me know.

I installed yours mentioned autobrightness app. For me it works without issue, it stays running even with few minutes in deep sleep state.
Have also everything turned off as you.
Tested with lspeed optimizing tweaks and without tweaks.
Even didn't need to lock app in memory.
Did you double check in miui aditional settings this option is it turned off as on this picture:

I had also few issues with your version of rom, problem with gapp syncing, google play forget authorization etc.
I manage to fix my issues with reflashing rom.
What i did before flashing was, go to twrp and format system, data, internal memory partition. Afterward i reboot from twrp back to recovery(twrp) and flash rom.

For watchdog app i can't test dont unfortunately have that app.

Screenshots of my test with autobrightness app:

EDITED: after an hour it stops working, needed to run it again. Ill try to lock in memory.

Can someone explain what is this? I have Xiaomi Mi4C 16gb version without SD Card and installed this ROM. When I want to connect my Phonebook with my Gmail, some mail with chinese characters comes up that says "kso.android.agent(at)gmail.com needs permission to my Gmail and contacts"? What is this? I don't want to give permission to that since I don't know what that random mail is.

Unfortunately im heavy user of my phone( work - remote connecting, calls, testing apps, taking picture, web browsing etc), my battery survives only half of day in best without charging so data from my phone would be very unreliable for comparing.

I understand your concern but it will be a normal statistics. The only way to real tested the ROM will be no more phone during the test, that's crazy.

If you installed this app from reliable store like Google Playstore yes in my opinion its safe.

The only Office app I installed was OfficeSuite + PDF Editor which is not from Kingston. I think that this thing stayed from previous chinese ROM that was installed on my phone when I received it. I couldn't flash this ROM without keeping some of the old apps, because If I removed everything from old ROM, it would delete the ZIP file from the phone as well, and I couldn't flash it.

You can try to find app in system/installed apps and disable it. Or if you have root access, install System app remover from Google Playstore and try to see if it's still under system app and uninstall it.

If you applied to unlock your phone through the xiaomi website, you should have received a text message on your phone, from xiaomi to download the unlock tool. So if you used the unlock tool, your phone should be unlocked.

After that, you have to instal TWRP-recovery. There is a turorial in the "questions & answers" section of the forum.

Once you have done that, you can copy the ROM zip file to your phone and rename it "update.zip".
After that, you can turn off your phone and turn it back on while pressing Volume UP until you reach the TWRP revovery screen. Once in the TWRP recovery, you will find options to install the update.zip and you will see options to wipe your cache/dalvyk/data.

Do not forget to backup everything you need to have backed up (through the system back-up, through your Mi account or via your recovery) first. You do not need to root the phone.
