Is it just me or any of you had more misses with the finger print sensor after this update? Also dislike the haptic feedback during unlocking the phone using fingerprint.
And I still cant use google now on tap. I have enabled google app under default app for assist and I have also enabled now on tap inside google app setting. But long press still takes me to google now, instead of activating google now on tap. For those for whom its working, what you guys have done?

My FP improved, unlock phone faster then beafore, only thing I miss is FP unlock after reboot, it ask only PIN, no FP option, only after i unlock my sim and phone with pin, and relock my screen, FP unloxk is working... Dont know about Google tap, don't using it

Is there a way to disable that haptic feedback? I think fingerprint scanner got bit faster,but for me its also taking more misses

I have a Redmi Note 3 Pro with TWRP 3.0.0.0 Cofface + ROM MIUI 7.4 (6.5.2.6v) 5.1.1.

1. Can I just enter in recovery and flash xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote3Pro_6.9.9_v8-6.0 ?
2. Can I wipe everything (like internal) ? Or just wipe data/dalvik/cache and let system in peace ?

The headphones bug still exists with ido. The pause button isn't working at all and if the vol+ button is pressed the volume immediately goes up to max (Xiaomi Piston Hybrid)

xiaomi.eu_multi_HM3_V7.5.1.0.LAICNDE_v7-5.1 works fine.

xiaomi.eu_multi_HM3_V8.0.1.0.LAICNDG_v8-5.1 has the same error.

I never noticed a doze mode in particular in settings of stock aosp rom either. I think doze is enabled by default. The battery graphs that I am seeing suggests that

Dont wipe internal. Wipe data/dalvik/cache and system. I just cleared dalvik and cache. Still working fine for me
 
Sorry for repeating same question..but anybody got google now on tap working?
In miui forum someone is sayin that the 6.9.9 update broke the google now on tap. And the dev on epic rom told that epic rom has pico gapps, for that purpose it might not be working..my guess is that eu rom has pico gapps too, and now on tap needs atleast nano.

Suggestions?
 
Installed yesterday on Note 3 Pro SD.
Dirty flash in twrp, only wiped dalvik and cache. No problems installing or running. Afterwards had to re unlock with official tool and also register fingerprints again. Nothing major.
No problems to report. No new features either.
Charging may be taking longer, but I am not sure. Battery use seems more or less the same as in 6.8.18.

I am happy to have gotten android 6, but I don't see any real difference compared to 5.1.

Don't get me wrong, I thank the developer for the hard work and I am happy there is such a strong community. Thank you.

It's there any problem if I wipe internal :D ? (I really like when changing base rom to make a deep clean install, I don't want old files on internal sdcard).

Don't think there will be a problem! Hopefully you have backup your media etc from internal storage!

No no problem i made that to, wipe cashe and dalvik, system, data and internal, and deleted MIUI and Android files from external SD card if you have it!
Using Official 3.0.2.2 twrp, needed to flash twice, second flash without any wipe to solve "Failed to mount" during installation, and now everything works like a charm! ;)

Don't have your device but if you are upgrading rom baseline i would wipe all data before it.

I tried. Everything works and nothing is lost after the new unlock. Don't worry.
