maybe you can see in developer options for USB debugging and oem unlock. Otherwise you can try to see if there is an update version of miunlock

I already check the oem unlock and usb debugging and its on.. and im sure i have latest version. In past time i did unlock with unofficial ways. And now i have a permission. Is that matters?

You should wait next update in this Friday for any improvement becuz this is the first update on 7.0...

You need a Windows 64 bit computer. If the drivers are not correctly installed, you can't unlock

Yes, first install Nougat rom and then ask for unlock

Noob question.

3 days ago I got Mi Max 32gb and today got an sms with approval for unlocking bootloader. I want to install xiaomi.eu nougat rom.

Questions:

1. After I install .eu Rom, will my bootloader become locked again (re-locked) or not?

2. Phone came with Android 6.0.1, miui8 stable 8.1.6.0. I just need to flash twrp and then install .eu Rom?

In the past I have been using .eu rom on RN2 but confused with locked bootloader.

Thanks for the help.

just installed yesterday, the first issue i have , i cannot send voice message via Whatsapp, i don't know if this is a Miui issue or Whatsapp issue... but on previous version (8.2 - 5.1.1) it was working just fine...

And the rest is just fine, faster !

First active it in auto start if doesn't work yet,then check battery saver and choose no restriction

I have an 64 bit Windows 10.
I think I have the drivers correctly installed. Is ther an "official" set of drivers for the mi4c ? I have the windows update driver that reconize perfectly the phone.

already activated in auto start and i have no battery saver set on... and as above, i guess it's a rom bug issue too...

your phone is correctly recognized by "adb devices" command?

Install 7.2.9 version last friday: No problem with fingerprint ! Work well with my configuration : 4 fingerprint profiles !

1. After install .eu Rom on Mi MAX bootloader status NOT changed.

Can I suggest instead of just asking, you do some research, collect logs using Netwok Signal Guru ( requires rooted device), and provide information as to where in the VoLTE setup/config the service is failing?

The VoLTE "domain" is a large block in the code, and if you provide guidance as to what is the failure at a network level, it makes fixing it so much quicker.

Also it is an "EU" ROM, not for Indian Jio network, so do not expect someone to fly to India for a connection and analysis, collect the traces yourself and contribute to the fix.
