Same problem here. Read the first 2 posts, there are the instructions BUT instead of mi4s twrp use the mi4c twrp

Do we actually need to flash a chinese dev rom to unlock the bootloader? I'm on Global Stable and stuck at 50%, and dont have the oem unlock option

you can use MIUI Eu weekly to unlock if you want but i recommend using China Dev

Was on global dev and had to use china dev in order to unlock the bootloader. Was having the same "stuck at 50%" problem, so I'm guessing a dev rom is advised.

Hey guys... I had 8.1.3.0 on mi4c and updated with full factory reset to 8.2.1.0 and data stopped working. Reverted back to 8.1.3.0 with full factory reset again and voila! 4G working again. Also before all that, I had installed 8.1.2.0 china via fastboot, same problem. So i guess something's wrong
